INDONESIAN HOT TOPICS ON TWITTER: The meaning of the name Bjorka, the hacker who broke into Indonesian data

Hot Topics - The name Bjorka is becoming a hot topic in Indonesia. Especially if it weren't for his actions of breaking into secret government data and spreading it.

Not only that, a number of data from state officials were also leaked by the hacker whose whereabouts were not yet known. Maybe not a few are also curious about the name Bjorka. What does the name Bjorka mean?

Reported by Magazine (detik.com), Tuesday (13/9/2022) so far, it is not known who Bjorka is and where he is, whether at home or abroad. On his Twitter account, he wrote down the location in Warsaw which is the capital of Poland. But of course it is uncertain whether he was really there.

Bjorka probably comes from Bjork, which is a fairly common name for people in Sweden. Bjork there is a surname or last name, which means birch.

Birch is a hardwood plant with small leaves, whose habitat is in temperate or sub-arctic climates. The ornas birch is the national tree in Sweden.

Apart from Sweden, Bjork is also a fairly common name in Iceland, especially for girls. One of the most popular figures with this name is Bjork, the legendary singer from Iceland.

Bjorka started to act in the last month or so and became known after in the breached.to forum, Bjorka posted and claimed to have 1.3 billion data related to registration of prepaid SIM cards from Indonesian residents.

Bjorka also revealed his motive for attacking Indonesia, which turned out to be personal. He admitted that his close people had been victims of the New Order's policies after 1965 and died in 2021. Bjorka said the figure was an intelligent old man who had taken care of him since he was born. This person said Bjorka had lost the status of an Indonesian citizen due to the policy of 1965. Bjorka also dedicated this action to him.

"Bjorka is logically likely to be abroad. If he was in the country, it would be very risky for him to carry out this action," said Alfons Tanujaya, a cybersecurity expert from Vaccines.

Regarding Bjorka's statement, Alfons said don't believe it easily. "I think it's just a spice. Don't easily believe everything that hackers tell you. He is very experienced and prepared himself very well," said Alfons.

Previously, a similar opinion was expressed by the Founder of Drone Emprit and Media Kernels Indonesia, Ismail Fahmi. "This is not an ordinary hacker who steals data, but there are other interests. The story can be decoy, it can also be true. But regarding the victims of the New Order, we cannot swallow it raw," said Ismail.
